Mother nature converses on the day snowflakes fall

Poetry

snow1

How great is the lord when singing birds sooth my aching heart
and when I yearn for a measure of peace, the descending flakes of white
paint a scene upon the eyes that so rarely amazed
for when the wind acts upon its duty intertwined with beauty
although my shell feels the shivering touch of new
within me the soul excited by this view
so men of old and children so bold
gather together across the plains of cotton
time stands still for this brief moment , she looks on
her students joyful, as joyful can be
she smiles and takes a long glance at her tireless work
she tells herself, how great is my master the lord of thee
who created me as the defying order
she stops short of her thinking for this be not of her role
and soon the pillows of soft cotton will turn
but this is her work her prime goal
her students now resemble their true age
and until another fall upon the stage
shes remains eager to continue her path
for on the day where she stands beside her lord
her students will be questioned
how far could they afford to fall
so as these particles begin to erode
and happiness bemoans its short lived life
she awakens and departs her abode
