Peace be on the Flower

Poetry

flower

A flower whose sweet scent erased
The pearl that no other could match
from every river of all lands
The petals ripened against times will

This gift from no other given to them
In the mind rooted the desire
whilst the core spoke of truth and piety
But men seek the tracks of above

The transient breeze of today
Is enough to derail men of age
They linger having destroyed
Did they think Mirrors lie

As the colours began to fade
Their desires were tamed
There they sought the scent
The very same they rejected

How many petals must fall
before the root crumbles
and no longer was this flower tall
Yet they expected to find it wilted

The audacity of their twisted will
let them in this world decay
Where the peak of Allah’s beauty
Shall never quench their hearts

Let this flower to her lord return
Strong, tall and full of colour
where her father will stand
Bringing with him warm Air

Today the petals remain
Where tomorrow they shall gather
and once again with his will
They shall attach to this great flower
