Forwarding in Exchange 2010

January 11, 2011

Microsoft

>Interesting case here, one of our clients required that a particular user have their emails automatically forwarded to their line manager without the user knowing.

At first I gave full access rights in exchange 2010 and then added the user as explained in a earlier post, this proved to be problematic as the user in question was aware his emails were being read. To solve this dilemma I navigated to Hub Transport settings and created a new transport rule.

In the transport rule I specified that all emails ‘sent to’ to user a be ‘copied to’ the address of user b.

Many thanks to mjolinor for assisting me.
